Everyone is unique and this is your time to make those choices to celebrate their individuality. We do not up-sell and your choices are simply that: your choices. We just want you to know what is available.
Bright colours, all white, pastels, roses, lilies, mixed seasonal, Australian natives or another favourite flower? We work with a very experienced florist who can personalise your floral choices. Maybe single stem flowers for a floral tribute or rose petals. Our florist has even created a casket cover from vegetables to reflect the deceased’s passion for his garden.
So much emotion is expressed through music. There are several opportunities during the funeral service where music can be played. For instance, on entrance, during reflection time, floral tributes, exiting the service and at the graveside. You may choose a singer, musician, bagpiper or that favourite song from your loved one’s CD collection.
Having a funeral singer to sing during a Catholic Mass is highly recommended.
Our supplier can provide all funeral stationery, personalised to your liking. Photo slideshows are also a very popular choice.
We can organise a Harley-Davidson Road King Hearse, if this is something that may be of interest.
A horse drawn hearse is a special way for your loved one to make their final journey.
A dove release is a very special and peaceful way of showing respect to your loved one and to help say a final goodbye. The releasing of doves offers a feeling of peace; there are few things more powerful than the white dove release. Dove releases can make a departure of a loved one both special and individual.
We can organise livestreaming, videography, photography and audio visual services if you require.
A pre-arranged funeral is where you meet with us to document your wishes but not payment is made.
Absolutely yes, there are many options available. Please check out our personalised tributes. You can personalise a funeral through music, booklets, venue, coffin, flowers to name a few.
Currently in NSW there are two cemeteries that offer Natural Burial. Kemps Creek Cemetery in Western Sydney and Lismore Bushland Cemetery in Northern NSW.
A natural burial is in harmony with nature, so the body (or cremated remains) is prepared without chemical preservatives. Using materials from natural fibres and a biodegradable coffin allows remains to return to the earth organically. To ensure that the habitat is kept as natural as possible, there are no formal headstones or monuments nor artificial wreathes or tributes. Although graves remain unmarked, each grave is mapped and surveyed using GPS technology to accurately record locations for visiting cherished memorials.
There is no legal requirement to have a funeral or death notice in a newspaper.
