Orthodox Funeral Service

We ensure that your loved one is farewelled in the manner that you would expect in accordance with the Orthodox faith.  We work with each individual Church to ensure your loved one is farewelled in the Church they belonged to surrounded by their congregation and family.

A typical Orthodox funeral include hymns, prayers, and readings from the bible.  The coffin is usually open for an Orthodox funeral service so that family and friends can say their goodbyes.   At the funeral service guests will greet the family to offer condolences. 

An important part of an Orthodox Funeral is providing the congregation with a Holy Card.  We can organise Holy Cards to be professionally designed and printed.

Many cemeteries have a dedicated Orthodox section.
